  • Q: How does Divvycast Advertising work?
  • A: Divvycast currently supports inserting ads at the beginning and end of your podcast. Once you are offered and accept a sponsorship, your MP3 itself will remain unmodified. At download time, we will insert ads at the beginning and/or end according to the sponsorship agreements you've entered into.
  • Since you probably don't want the first thing your listeners hear to be the ad, you can upload an Intro Clip that will play before the ad and an Outro Clip that will play at the end of your podcast.
  • Q: How much money can I make?
  • A: As your podcast's popularity grows, advertisers will begin to contact you with an offer to place their advertisements in your podcast. Once you accept an offer, you can start generating revenue quickly. Divvycast works with our ad insertion partners to provide you with the highest CPM possible. And remember, the price advertisers are willing to pay you will increase as your podcast audience grows.
  • Q: How do I attract sponsors?
  • A: The first thing you need to do to attract a sponsor is create a professional-sounding podcast. Stay away from excessive foul language and other things that might scare off a potential sponsor. Next, you need to focus on building up your audience. Most advertisers want you to have an audience of at least 2000 listeners/subscribers per month.
  • Q: How do I get paid?
  • A: Payments to you shall be sent by Divvycast using the EFT/PayPal system within approximately ninety (90) days after the end of each calendar month if your earned balance is $10 or more. In the event the Agreement is terminated, Divvycast shall pay your earned balance to you within approximately ninety (90) days after the end of the calendar month in which the Agreement is terminated by you (following Divvycast's receipt of your written request, including by email, to terminate the Agreement) or by Divvycast. In no event, however, shall Divvycast make payments for any earned balance less than $10.
